I need advise as a Step mom whose husband has sole Legal custody (he makes all life choices for the kids-doctors, school etc, not her) of his children and shared physical custody (7 days with us, 7 days with bio mom). Are there books or blogs for the kids to read on how to deal with her during these teenage years and also when they leave the nest? I walk a fine line as a step parent. I have an amazing relationship with them but never ever want to cross that line of them feeling like I am trying to be their mom instead of her. My step daughter is 17 and my step son is 15. Any information that points me to help would appreciated. Thanks
