For end of the year teachers gifts, I have been giving “explosion boxes”  for a few years. My son has had one teacher for 3 years and is now moving onto Jr. High so I wanted to give her something a little different.  I came up with a tool box concept and searched for how to do it online.  I came across this file.  I liked the fact that it had a removable top tray to hold the tools with room underneath.  Under the tool tray I was able to fit the actual gift, gift cards with room to spare for a note from myself and my son.

Oh, and I also made a backpack.
